In 1924 New York, four World War I vets struggle to stop a vampire, while examining their own relationship with each other.
Based upon the 1924 play by Hamilton Deane and the revised 1927 version by John L. Balderston and the novel by Bram Stoker. Our version is set in prohibition era New York, against the backdrop of Dr. Seward’s Lunatic Asylum.
Pending funding, our goal is to shoot Dracula on-location in Louisiana.

We will be shooting for 14 consecutive days, covering 5 – 8 pages of script per day, depending on complexity. Work days will be approximately 10 – 12 hour work days.

What will be provided: Meals (every 5 hours), water/ drinks, snacks.
Compensation: This is a PAID project, IMBd credit, screen credit, digital copy for reel.

Priest – One day commitment – day shoot. Speaking role.
Mourners – One day commitment – day shoot. Need approximately 10 – 12 adults. Non-speaking role. Must provide own clothing in somber colors (must pass for 1920s era.) Men in suits, women in period looking dress.
Child – approximately 4 – 6 years old, male or female. One day commitment – night shoot (approximately 5 hours). Must be able to take direction – parent must be present for full shoot.
