VOICE OVER COACHING
I offer 4 week workshops for those new to voiceover.
Workshops are online, one on one via Zoom. We will work together for an hour weekly for 4 weeks, where we cover the fundamentals, both technical and creative.
You’ll learn how to get started in voice over, how the industry works, and what kind of equipment you’ll need to get started.
We’ll work on real copy, and I’ll guide you through what clients are looking for when casting and how to find auditions. I’ll also guide you through pitfalls to avoid, including common scams targeted at voice actors.
Consultation
We’ll start with a free 15 – 20 minute consultation where I can evaluate where you are in your voiceover journey. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the workshop and what your goals are and what area of voiceover you want to start with.
Workshop
The voiceover workshop is 4 consecutive weeks, meeting for an hour each week. We work one on one, each week building on what you learned from the previous week. Prior to the beginning of the workshop, we can schedule a time that works best for you. I generally offer sessions Monday – Friday, 10AM – 6PM CST.
You do not need prior acting experience to get started. However, if you do, I can adjust my teaching approach to meet your experience level.
We will work with copy each week and build on what you’ve learned, giving you a foundation to continue your VO journey. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have several recorded samples of your work.
To attend the workshop, you will be required to have a strong internet connection, access to microphone and camera on your computer (many macs and PCs have built in audio and video – this is fine for the purposes of this workshop), a quite space to work each week, and the ability to record your audio. I recommend the free software, Audacity, if you need a recording program.
I only accept a limited number of students each month, so I am able to give you the attention you deserve.
Cancellation Policy and Disclaimer
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of the FIRST session of the workshop. There are no refunds for cancellations after that time. If you need to reschedule a session time during the week, I can accommodate that if you give 24 hours notice, pending there is time in my schedule, and it is within the same week of the scheduled session. There are no make-up sessions, should you miss a class.
All sessions are scheduled through E-Mail to prevent any confusion or miscommunication.

Fees
Cost for the 4 week workshop is $600.

Workshop fee is due before we can schedule or reserve any session times. I accept payments through Zelle.
All sessions take place online, via Zoom. This enables students to work with me whereever they are, in the comfort of their own home.
👉 Please note: I recommend planning ahead and reaching out to me early. There may be a waitlist, depending on the time of year, due to the limited amount of students I accept per month.
